Charities

Berkshire Autistic Society
Berkshire Autistic Society aims to improve the support and quality of life for children and adults with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, their carers and families; to ensure professionals and service providers deliver accessible and effective autism appropriate services and opportunities; and to gain public awareness and inclusion of children and adults with ASD.
CLIC Sargent
CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards. Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

Well I made it! Took slightly longer than I aimed for ( I came in at  2hrs 15mins ) Rookie mistake as I should have gone to a start pen nearer to the front which would have prevented the first mile being stop/ start so I know for next year..... I am pleased as I only get to train once a week due to work and at the age of 50 I don't think it was a bad effort! Knees sore but back at work today!

Many, many thanks for all your sponsorship - well worth the pain & effort :)
