Childhood Bereavement Network

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/cbn

One in 29 children and young people have been bereaved of a parent, brother or sister - that's almost one in every class.  The death of somone important can be devastating for a child.  At every stage of growing up - moving school, bringing new friends home, leaving home - young people are reminded of the person's absence.

Children's fear and pain before and after a death can be hard for those around them to bear.  Some children get great support from family, friends and communities, but others struggle to find the help they need.

The Childhood Bereavement Network is a hub for those working with bereaved children, young people and their families across the UK. We bring professionals together, support and represent them in order to improve bereavement care for children.  We champion bereaved children's needs and signpost families to sources of support.

Please make a donation to allow this vital work to continue...your support will help us to strengthen the work of those helping children to find healthy ways of adjusting to their new life.
