** Update **

Thanks largely to my superb support team I was able to complete the run in 14 hours and 5 minutes. We left the village in the darkness at 6 am. After a long, painful and gruelling run we arrived at the hospital at 8.05pm. It was worth every single step, i will never forget what the unit did for Holly and i will never take her for granted!

Thank you so much for sponsoring me x x

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

My daughter Holly was born very prematurely and spent 3 months in hospital. She was transferred to the Special Care Baby Unit at Kettering, this was the nearest intensive care bed available to us.

Holly was very poorly for some time and the care she received was absolutely first class. The staff at the SCBU were so kind not only did they save Holly's life but they very kindly accommodated both Jo and I allowing us to be at Hollys side. We are eternally grateful to them.

It is my intention to retrace Hollys steps by running from my home in Exhall near Alcester to Kettering General Hospital a distance of 70 miles to raise funds for the parents suite on the unit to allow parents to be with their poorly babies.

Holly is now doing rather well, you would never know how poorly she was and we love her so much. Please help if you can.

Love Chris, Jo and Holly Hanson x
