CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards. Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.

Hi,
Firstly, a big thank you to all that have sponsored us for the event. Your support is greatly appreciated by us and CLIC Sargent.
It was a fantastic day and the good news is we all managed to get round in under an hour!
Paticularly impressive results was Carl breaking the 50 minute mark, with Emma and Louise in the low 50's and Lucy (running her first 10k!) running sub 1 hour with the support of Mike (who I am sure was a help rather than slowing Lucy down.....)
We are having one final push to achieve our target so any loose change you can find down the sofa will be a real help.
Thanks once again to everyone and we all look forward to running again next year, invitations are open........
