The Peace Hospice - The Peace Hospice, based in Watford, cares for people living with a life limiting or terminal illness and supports their families from across South West Hertfordshire. We provide inpatient care, day care, an outpatient service, a hospice at home service as well as bereavement support. The Hospice needs to raise £3 million of charitable income each year in order to run and develop its services. All the care that the Hospice provides to its patients and their families is free.

Strictly Come Hospice Valentines Special

It’s time to get romantic! Join The Peace Hospice and special guest ‘Strictly Come Dancing's' Andrew Cuerden in celebrating the 5th and final Strictly Come Hospice by joining us for this glitzy Valentine Special. Support your friends and family by sponsoring them to take part in the glitzy Valentine final at the newly refurbished Colosseum in Watford. Strictly Come Dancing is a popular British television show, featuring celebrities with professional dance partners competing in Ballroom and Latin dances. We are using a similar format for the event, when after 6 weeks training with professional coaches you will take centre stage by performing live to an audience of friends and family. Contestants will enjoy 6 weeks of professional dancing lessons with our Moonlglow dance coaches Paul Alex and Fay Knight. Rock Choir, Moonglow, Rock Challenge and other local dance schools, plus professionals will be joining our previous and new Strictly couples battling it out in front of a guest judging panel when only one couple will be crowned Strictly Come Hospice Champions!

We really believe that the Peace Hospice is a great organisation and does fantastic work.
