I CAN is the children’s communication charity. We are here to ensure that no child is left out or left behind because of a difficulty speaking or understanding. Nobody wants a child’s potential to be wasted. It happens because communication difficulties are not visible, often mistaken for something else, or not noticed at all. I CAN’s mission is to make sure that everyone in contact with children knows how important communication is, what a communication difficulty looks like and what they can do to help.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page!
I decided to trek up Snowdon for I Can for lots of reasons. To get fit, to have some fun, to challenge myself and to raise money for a great cause!
I am a franchisee for Debutots, www.debutots.co.uk providing fun, interactive drama sessions for babies and children. Debutots is all about building confidence, using imaginations and developing communication skills. So you can see why Debutots' chosen charity is I Can!
I CAN’s mission is to ensure that no child who struggles to communicate is left out or left behind. Their vision is a world where all children and young people who struggle to communicate receive the help they need so that they can have a happy childhood, make progress at school and thrive as adults.
I will be joined on the trek by my Dad, Dave Ruddle. My Dad is a super fit, crazy walker! He has taken part in the International Four Days Marches Nijmegen twice, so will hopefully be a great help to me trudging up the mountain - either that, or he will leave me behind!!!
