Charity

The Danny Porter Foundation
The Danny Porter Foundation provides donations and grants to other charities and bodies providing research, support, care and equipment to people suffering from cancer and / or requiring neurological surgery. Through this support we hope to help with the journey that cancer patients have to undergo, help to advance the quest to cure cancer and help keep up with the very latest advances in neurological care. The Foundation will also share Danny's experience. It will not provide advice on treatment, opinion on research or methods - that is not our place. What it will do is share some of the feelings he experienced so that hopefully people in similar situations will know that what they are feeling is not unusual. It will also demonstrate that there is a full life to be enjoyed following major surgery of this type. We aim to give hope, support and reassurance to people in similar positions through the telling of Dan's story.

It's the biggest reunion tour of 2012. No, not the Stone Roses, not the Happy Mondays, not even Van Halen! The Danny Porter Foundation are back on the road, on their bikes, raising money, getting sore where no man (or woman!) wants to be sore and generally enjoying a couple of days without the drag of work, life, nappies etc.

Thanks for visiting our page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to Danny Porter Foundation. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

The Wakefield to London Cycle Challenge will raise money for Weston Park Cancer Charity in Sheffield and Second Chance Headway in Wakefield. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

WHEN YOU CLICK DONATE NOW YOU WILL BE GIVEN A DROP DOWN MENU OF THE RIDERS SO YOU CAN CHOOSE WHICH INDIVIDUAL YOU WANT TO SPONSOR, THANKS
