The Ron Pickering Memorial Fund (RPMF) raises funds to help young aspiring talented athletes reach their true potential. The RPMF helps recipients make the difficult transition from junior to senior level through support for equipment, specialist coaching or travel and importantly help build the athletes’ confidence and self esteem through recognition. Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I'm running the 2015 London Marathon for the Ron Pickering Memorial Fund. Any donation, however small, will make a big difference to the Fund and the fabulous young athletes it sponsors.
Did you know that every single British medalist in the 2012 Olympics was at some point sponsored by the RPMF?
I don't look like your typical runner, and this is a pretty big deal for me - physically and mentally. But I don't have to do it alone - I'm part of an awesome team of runners coached by Julie Creffield of The Fat Girl's Guide to Running.
