The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a lifesaving charity covering the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. We receive no Government funding so are entirely dependant on fundraisers, donations and the generosity of the public. We have to raise over £3 million a year to continue our service, flying 365 days a year, with an average of four to five missions per day. Beacuse our crews can get to patients fast and provide advanced medical attention we can be the difference between complete recovery and long term injury, life and death. Road traffic accidents account for over 50% of the incidents we're called to. Due to the speed of the helicopters it takes no more than 13 minutes to the nearest A&E department within the region. It's your support that enables us to save lives.
Virgin Unite is the non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group. We unite people to tackle tough social and environmental problems in an entrepreneurial way. Our aim is to help revolutionize the way businesses, government and the social sector work together - driving business as a force for good. This is based on the belief that this is the only way we can tackle the scale and urgency of the challenges facing the world today. All of Virgin Unite’s overheads are covered by Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, meaning that 100% of additional donations received, go direct to the frontline where they are needed most.

Fly or Die's fundraising page
Hi, thanks for visiting our page.
On Tues 29th March 2011 "Team Fly or Die" will be taking part in a freefall skydive for charity! Team Fly or Die consists of 6 brave/crazy members from Virgin Media Wholesale Business and SSO:
- Mark Robinson,
- Simon Kearney,
- Perri Duncan,
- Nabeelah Pirzada
- Ross Millard
- Me (Fraser Duncan)
We will be exiting the aircraft at 13,500ft to experience 50 seconds of freefall at 120mph, then followed by a further 5 minutes graceful fall to earth under canopy. This is a the first time any of us have done anything like this so as expected we're all petrified.
All money raised will be going towards 2 great charities "Virgin Unite" and "East Anglian Air Ambulance" so even the smallest of donations will be hugely appreciated.
PLEASE DONT BE SHY TO REACH INTO YOUR POCKETS AND SUPPORT TEAM FLY OR DIE IN THIS TERRIFYING EVENT. REMEMBER, IT'S ALL FOR CHARITY!!!
