Family Friends in Windsor and Maidenhead is an independent local charity that provides an early intervention service to families with children up to the age of 13 who are facing a range of difficult situations. We can offer: Volunteer Support via our experienced, skilled and supportive volunteers who can offer short term, practical and emotional assistance to parents and children. The Family Support Worker Service can offer individual and group support to parents and children who are affected by issues such as domestic violence, divorce and separation.

Family Friends - Slough together walk 2010
Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
On July 10th a team of dedicated Family Friends supporters will be walking the Slough Together Walk to raise much needed funds to allow us to continue the valuable work we do with parents and children across the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. Please donate whatever you can and help us reach our target!
We rely on funding for all our projects including: volunteer support for families going through difficult times, parenting groups, PICADA groups (Positive Intervention for Children Affected by Domestic Abuse) and individual support for children coping with issues such as divorce and seperation, bereavement, low self esteem, anxiety and so on.
Last year family Friends was awarded the Queen's Golden Jubilee Award for voluntary service by groups in the community for supporting families with young children in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead!
