BEN is here to help the automotive and related industries provide care and support for employees and their dependants in times of need. We are the UKs only charity for those who work, or have worked, in the automotive and related industries, as well as their dependants. Whether its practical, emotional or financial support that you need, we are here to help in whatever way we can. As well as offering support and advice, we also have a range of nursing and residential centres across the country to care for the elderly in our community. From volunteering or attending our events, to donating or raising awareness at your workplace, there are plenty of ways to get involved. BEN is your industry charity, and its only thanks to the kindness of our supporters that were able to continue our vital work.

Good Garage Scheme Hits the Beach for BEN
The Good Garage Scheme is hoping that all members take part in the Hit the Beach for BEN campaign which runs from 18th - 24th July, 2011. BEN is the UK's only charity for those who work, or have worked, in the automotive and related industries and is celebrating it's 106th Birthday this July.
Competition for all Good Garage Scheme members:
We will be running a competition for the Best Good Garage Scheme Summer Photo.
Send us a photo of staff members or a beach themed garage scene for your chance to win a summer hamper full of goodies. All photos must include the Good Garage Scheme logo (this can include signage in the background). All photos will be posted on the Good Garage Scheme Facebook page and a winner will be chosen from all entries received by 15th August 2011. Entrance fee of £1 is payable directly to BEN virginmoneygiving.com/goodgaragescheme

The Good Garage Scheme will award a summer hamper to the best photo entry received by 31st July 2011.
We will also be celebrating and fundraising at our Good Garage Scheme Head Office:
We will be hosting our own office beach party on 21st July. All staff will be invited to bring in a beach towel for their chairs, dress in summer wear and enjoy a picnic lunch, provided they donate £1 to BEN. We promise to post our photos as well.
