Guide Dogs - The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of blind and partially sighted people never leave home alone. Guide Dogs empowers visually impaired people to do that and relies totally on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service. We breed and train guide dogs which provide life changing mobility and there are currently 4,500 working guide dog partnerships in the UK. The full lifetime cost of a guide dog from birth to retirement is £48,500. We will not rest until blind and partially sighted people can enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else.

Welcome to Nuba's fundraising page, the official Go Walkies mascot!

Nuba is a guide dog puppy who is just starting out on his incredible journey. He currently lives with his puppy walking family and will stay with them for a year, before setting off for advanced training.

The Go Walkies team and our proud sponsors Eukanuba are excited to see how Nuba progresses throughout his first year and promise to keep you all updated!

By supporting Nuba you can help Guide Dogs continue to change the lives of blind and partially sighted people throughout the UK. Guide Dogs receives no government funding so every penny helps!

27.06.10 Good luck on your walk. Guide dogs for the blind is a charity close to my heart as my son-in-law is registered blind, and will soon need a guide dog. His uncle already has had 2 guide dogs. Both my son-in-law and his uncle are blind through a heredity.
