CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards. Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.

Han and Sarah run the 2010 London Marathon!

Thanks for logging on to our page.
As many of you know we are running the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 25th April 2010, in memory of Emily Jane Woodend who passed away aged 4 last year from a rare form of cancer
Every day 10 families are told their child has cancer.
Your money will help support these families such as Emily’s on a daily basis not only when they are fighting this horrible disease but also afterwards, bringing amazing support to both parents and siblings. Emily’s brother Ryan still attends events on a regular basis that are held by Clic Sargent aimed at keeping the memory alive of their brother/ sister but also helping them to talk about their loss.
We feel that running the marathon is a minor challenge compared to what any family with a child or loved one has to go through when cancer is diagnosed.
We hope you will support us along our journey and help us to beat our target!
