My page:

Hi, thanks for visiting my page.

I'm tackling the Great North Run again to raise money for Huntington's Disease. I'm using the same page as last year so you can see that your kind donations with gift aid hit nearly £2000! So I'm taking up where I left off last year and hoping that its third time lucky after rain and wind the first year, scorching hot weather last year and that its OK this year

For those of you that don't know what HD is, it's a hereditary denerative disease of the central nervous system. Symptoms are physical, psychological and mental. Huntington's disease has been described as having Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Schizophrenia all at once.

My Mum currently battles bravely with this horrible disease every day. Currently there is no cure but there are some amazingly positive steps happening in research with drugs in clinical trials at the moment so we need to keep up the fight to get rid of it once and for all!

Friends and family are always so generous so thankyou again for supporting us. You were so generous last year so please don't feel that you have to donate but even a few pounds will keep me going as I hit that hill at mile 10!

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
