Hugh Morris

Bloodwise formerly known as Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research
We are the UKs biggest blood cancer charity. We are here to beat blood cancer. We stop people dying from blood cancer, we make patients lives better and we stop people getting blood cancer in the first place. We research. We help. We campaign. We share learning. We raise money. We have changed the world for people with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders, but we won’t stop until every single person with blood cancer survives and can live their life to the full.
Only 0 days to go!

Hugh Morris is running a marathon

Hugh Morris

My page:

So I'm running a marathon. Not any marathon, the London Marathon. I'm probably never going to run one again so this is your only chance to sponsor me.

I have decided to run for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. When I was nine my dad died of Leukaemia - were it not for this I probably wouldn't know much about the disease - or how to spell it. Leukaemia is one of the lesser known cancers. It is a cancer of the white blood cells and in 2010 it killed just over 4,500 people in the UK, more than half of those diagnosed with it.

The charity is the only one in the UK dedicated solely to blood cancers, and funds crucial research into leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

If you sponsor me and donate to this charity, it will make running all those miles (THERE ARE SO MANY) that little bit easier. Plus, everyone who donates has the opportunity to accompany me on one of my training runs. No talking.
