World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK)
World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK) is committed to preventing cancer. WCRF UK is the principal charity dedicated to the prevention of cancer through the promotion of healthy diets, physical activity and weight management. By spreading the good news that about a third of cancers can be prevented, WCRF UK hopes that many thousands of lives will be saved. Thank you, because by raising money on our behalf you will enable us to continue our vital cancer prevention research.
EllenorLions Hospices
EllenorLions Hospices provides all encompassing hospice care to over 2,500 children and adults each year and aim to provide a seamless service to meet all the needs of our patients and their families. We care for people at any age with cancer and other progressive, life threatening illnesses. Our care takes place in the patient's home, in local hospitals and our own 15-bed hospice. We started the first hospice at home service for children in the UK and have pioneered transition care for teenagers. We strive to provide world leading hospice care.

Hi, thanks for visiting our page.

It is a sad fact that we will nearly all be affected by cancer in one way or another. From James and my personal experience we lost both our parents at an early age, and we have lost count of the number of friends and relatives affected by this horrible disease.

We hope you will support both our chosen charities:

The Ellenor Lions Hospice provides support and respite care in south east UK and were instrumental in looking after both our parents and providing support for all of us.

World Cancer Research Fund works both to find a cure and on educational programmes so we can all do what we can to help prevent the disease in the first place.

The Challenge:

Walking Hadrian's Wall in 4 days! It almost sounds 'do-able' but then the first day's walk is 27 miles.....before you hit the hills and the switchbacks, woo-hoo!

More details on the wall can be found on the link below:

http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/hadrianswall/

What you can do:

Simple really - just click 'donate' and give whatever you can! Alternatively, speak to one of the team who will be happy to take an old school donation from you in person.

Many thanks in advance, from all of Team Anglo American Sherpas!
