Macmillan Cancer Support
At Macmillan, we know cancer can affect everything. Your body, your relationships, your money, everything. But Macmillan is here to help people live life, no matter what. We give you the support you need to hold on to who you are and what’s important. But right now, we can’t reach everyone who needs us. Almost half of us will get cancer, and we need your help to make sure that people get the support they need to face one of the toughest fights of their lives. Life with cancer is still life -let’s help people live it. We are a charity registered in England and Wales (261017), Scotland (SCO39907) and the Isle of Man (604).

Please note Virgin Money Giving isn't responsible for the content fundraisers post on their pages, but if you see something you feel is offensive or inappropriate, please let us know and we'll look into it.

Thanks for dropping by!

This year I’m putting my big belly & little legs on the line to raise money for Macmillan nurses. Over the last few years, more & more friends & loved ones have either been or know some one affected with cancer.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. One in three of us will get cancer. As treatments improve, more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives. This means they & their support network, need more than medical help, they also need practical, emotional and financial support.

A big thank you to all who have sponsored so far!

Hitting £250 was a hard day as I had to wear the dreaded wolves shirt. (see blog for photos)

UPDATE: Feb 15th 2012

I had my legs waxed thanks to the students at Walsall College Salon, Becky & Michelle were my torturers for the day, who did a marvellous job to not make it too painful though it did smart at time & Joanne at the College for organising it.

So It looks like I’ve reached the end. If you feel that The pain I’ve endured is worth one last donation then just click the button!

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
