Around one in five young people in the UK are not in work, education or training. Youth unemployment costs the UK economy £10 million a day in lost productivity, while youth crime costs £1 billion every year. The Prince's Trust gives practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation. We work with 14 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 600,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training.

Igloo Books' '7 in 7' Marathon Challenge
One Hell of a Challenge!
4 colleagues from Igloo Books in Sywell, Northamptonshire are undertaking an unbelievably mammoth challenge this year - 7 Marathons in 7 Days in 7 different Countries! John Styring, Jonny Illingworth, Mark Burge and Dean Cornish are planning on running full city marathons in Paris, Cologne, Brussels, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, and Cardiff before topping it all of with the Virgin London Marathon on 22nd April.
Each marathon will be the full 26.2 miles, and each will be ran on consecutive days. The challenge starts on the 15th April, and ends a week later on the 22nd. The 4 workmates are not super fit professional runners either (and that's for sure!). All are just casual joggers at best, but all have a great determination to complete this task and raise as much money for the Princes' Trust as possible. For many people, completing 1 marathon is a lifetime acheivement (and rightly so... it's a huge challenge). To complete 7 in a week will genuinely be outstanding.
