Right now, the lives of over three million people in the UK are threatened by chronic kidney disease. No one knows who or when kidney disease may strike next. It could be any one of us, young or old. Kidney Research UK is the country's leading charity dedicated to funding life saving research, improving patient care and raising public awareness of kidney disease issues. Only with your help can we help fund more research to save lives.
For over 60 years UNICEF has been the world's leader for children, working on the ground in more than 150 countries and territories to help children survive and thrive, from early childhood through adolescence. The world's largest provider of vaccines for developing countries, UNICEF supports child health and nutrition, good water and sanitation, quality basic education for all boys and girls, and the protection of children from violence, exploitation, and AIDS. UNICEF is funded entirely by the voluntary contributions of individuals, businesses, foundations and governments.
Tough Mudder- South West
22 September 2013
Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, determination, and camaraderie. Only 78% of entrants successfully complete each challenge. As the leading company in the booming obstacle course industry, Tough Mudder has already challenged half a million inspiring participants worldwide. But Tough Mudder is more than an event, it’s a way of thinking. By running Tough Mudder, you’ll unlock a true sense of accomplishment, have a great time, and discover a camaraderie with your fellow participants that’s experienced all too rarely these days.

Tough Mudder for Unicef and Kidney Research
Thanks for visiting my page.
I'm running in the South West 2013 'Tough Mudder' to be frozen, eletricuted and burnt trying to raise money for two amazing charites!
+I raise for 'Unicef' to help an amzing charity inoculate/feed/shelter/support/(the list goes on) children around the world.
They are also the nicest people to talk to (experience from last year).
+I raise for 'Kidney Research UK' because of my Dad, who since before I was born has either been lucky enough to enjoy a donor kidney or on dialysis while waiting for a transplant. They help fund ongoing research for treatments and cures for all who need it.
If you donated last year thank you for coming back for this years challenge.
This year is going to be a lot harder; double the distance and triple the obstacles.
