Charity
London is a shameful tale of two cities. In the richest capital in Europe almost half our children live below the poverty line. These families, "the dispossessed," are cut off from the life most Londoners take for granted. As London’s paper, the Evening Standard believes it is their role to help champion their causes. Working with the Evening Standard, Community Foundation Network seek to enable readers to make London a better place by supporting local charities, using the government’s Grassroots Grants endowment challenge to at least double the value of donations received. The Evening Standard Grassroots Dispossessed Fund will support hundreds of grassroots projects around the capital. Run by motivated individuals and operating locally, these groups can be an effective and inspiring antidote to the issues that London faces. For more information on the Grassroots Grants endowment challenge visit: http://www.communityfoundations.org.uk/philanthropy_centre/grassroots_endowment_challenge/

This is a recent update in order to plea to the most amazing donation I could have ever dreamed of. If you are the grateful Londoner who donated 500pounds to my charity I would dearly love to hear from you. My email address is below and will maintain your anonymity at all times. I simply want to say thank you so much for helping me reach my target and will buy you a pint anytime. Thank you grateful Londoner :) :) :)
Hello everybody
As you are probably aware, I am the mad bloke who has decided to cycle from John o Groats to Lands End on Boris Bike. This is to achieve two things, raising money for an excellent charity and to be the first person to achieve the feat on a Boris Bike so that I might stand shoulder to shoulder with other incredible men like Neil Armstrong and Christopher Colombus.
The Evening Standards Dispossessed Fund is a fantastic charity that releases funds to assist some of the poorest people in London and to help much needed community projects in all boroughs. They are always looking to help new projects and assist current ones so please donate generously.
