The Peace Hospice, based in Watford, cares for people living with a life limiting or terminal illness and supports their families from across South West Hertfordshire. We provide inpatient care, day care, an outpatient service, a hospice at home service as well as bereavement support. The Hospice needs to raise £3 million of charitable income each year in order to run and develop its services. All the care that the Hospice provides to its patients and their families is free.

Toddy Does Strictly!!!

Thank you all for visiting this page.
Well...most of you will know that I am:
a) slightly mad
b) luurrrrrve to dance (but badly and usually after a fair few alcoholic beverages) - see photo!
c) up for a laugh and a bit of fun along the way...
...so, I said to myself, what better way than to combine all the above and enter myself into STRICTLY COME HOSPICE 2012!! The FINAL SHOW in this wonderful series of events organised by the fabulous Nicky & Charlotte at The Peace Hospice, Watford.
The event details are on this page, however in a nutshell, we are all total beginners in ballroom dancing yet have been given a wonderful opportunity of learning the CHA CHA CHA (darling) courtesy of the fab teachers at Moonglow Dance Studios. Myself and my dance partner, Ricardo (Richard) will be battling it out against 5 other couples on Friday 17th February on stage in front of a horrendously large live audience....EEEEK!!
So now for the serious bit: The Peace Hospice is a local facility in Watford that cares for those with life limiting or terminal illnesses and also provides invaluable support to their families. This service is totally FREE OF CHARGE to all that need it and in order to maintain and develop their services they need to raise £3 million in charitable income.
