Christopher’s Smile was set up in October 2008 by Karen and Kevin Capel following the tragic death of their only son Christopher from medulloblastoma, an aggressive childhood brain tumour. Supporting UK research centres such as the Institute of Cancer Research, Christopher ’s Smile aims to raise money to fund development of new drugs to treat medulloblastoma and other childhood cancers without devastating side effects. These drugs will provide an effective cure for all and save the lives of the 25% of children who currently do not survive their disease. "Our vision is for every child diagnosed with childhood cancer to not only survive, but to reach adulthood enjoying a good quality of life."

As some of you may already know, I am running the Fleet Half Marathon on March 21 in Hampshire, UK to raise money for Christopher's Smile. Christopher's Smile is a wonderful charity that raises money to fund development of new drugs to treat medulloblastoma and other childhood cancers without devastating side effects.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
