Help Me Climb Mount Kilimanjaro 4 Kids
Climb Mount Kilimanjaro for Kids is in aid of Childreach international, a dedicated charity to improve the lives of kids in the worlds poorest areas.
At 5,895 metres (19,340 feet) Kilimanjaro is not only Africa's highest peak it is also the highest freestanding mountain in the world.
I am taking upon the challange of climbing this mountain in co-operation with Leeds University RAG(Raise and Give) to raise a substantial amount of money to improve the lives of those less fortunate then us. This will take place on June 27th.
The Challenge of climbing the mountain is both physically and mentally challenging but also highly rewarding. To do this I need to raise a total of at least £2300.
But this will not just be a standard charity trek. . . In addition to climbing Kilimanjaro I will also be given the opportunity to spend time at Childreach International projects in the Kilimanjaro region with some of the children that my sponsorship money will benefit.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. A small portion of the money raised goes towards the costs of my trip, Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charitys behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
I would be really grateful of any donations anybody could make, large or small to this wonderful cause.
