At Tearfund, we believe the local church is central to overcoming poverty and transforming lives. We’re part of it, along with others around the world and with each and every one of our amazing supporters. Together, we make up the global church. We have a vision to see 50 million people released from material and spiritual poverty through a worldwide network of 100,000 local churches.

Hello, I am Joel. I am six. I want to raise money for all the children who don't have any food. I am going to run for two miles on Saturday 23rd of June, please sponsor me so that I can give all the money to charity.
My charity is Tearfund because I saw a video that they made, and they help the children in places where there is poverty, like in parts of Africa.
[A note from Joel's daddy - this is ALL Joel's idea and hard work - all the words you read above are his, and the offline fundraising has all come from him. It's his idea to do the two mile run too. He's a top lad.
