CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards. Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.

In memory of Blue May Muller
A musical extravaganza produced, directed and performed by Laura and her friends, assisted and supported by the amazing Lesli Thompson music teacher extraordinaire!
Following a successful concert last year, before taking up her place at the Royal Northern College of Music Laura decided to continue her fundraising efforts with the help of her friends. It is hoped that this concert will raise much needed funds for CLIC Sargent and provide a lasting legacy to Blue May Laura's friend.
Blue was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in September 2003 and lost her battle in March 2005 when she was 12 years old. Blue spent much of this time a long way from her home, at Southampton hospital and later on the bone marrow transplant unit in Bristol Children’s hospital. Throughout this time her parents were able to be with her everyday and stay close to both hospitals by “de-camping” to CLIC Home from Homes, CLIC Haven and Sam’s House.
CLIC Sargent is the UK's leading children's cancer charity, and the only organisation to offer children with cancer all round care and support. During treatment – providing specialist nurses, play specialists, Homes from Home, In hospital and at home – offering specialist social care and support in the community – services for young people, holidays, grants, helpline and After treatment – helping survivors, supporting those bereaved.
