British Red Cross
The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies. We enable vulnerable people in the UK and abroad to prepare for and withstand emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives. The owner of this page is raising money in trust on behalf of the British Red Cross, it is the page owners responsibility to ensure that the British Red Cross is able to channell any money raised for a specific appeal or stated purpose, prior to any fundraising taking place. In the unlikely event that this dialogue has not taken place, then the British Red Cross will allocate the funds raised where ever the need is greatest in furtherence of its charitable objectives.

My story... Friday 26th June 2015 changed my life forever. My parents were caught up and tragically killed in the terrorist attack in Tunisia. 30 British tourists lost their lives that day. In the days that followed myself and my siblings were flown to the hotel where they were killed, on this journey and later events the British Red Cross were there to support us and help us to try and make sense of what was happening. 18 months on my family and I are still coming to terms with the devastation that has cut through the core of our family, but we do and will continue to not just survive the ordeal but to live our lives in a way that mum and dad would be proud to see. We stay strong together and inspire each other to do better. The Red Cross were always in our mind and we wondered how best to try and give something back to a British institution, so I am giving my legs to charity and have been accepted to run on behalf of the Red Cross at this years London Marathon. Along with my niece we will attempt to run and finish the worlds most iconic marathon and along the way we hope to raise awareness and lots of money for this great cause. With this in mind it would be incredible for you to support us on our journey by donating to my page on behalf of my mum and dad, and all of the other people that lost their lives that day and to those that continue to get caught up in such atrocities around the world. Thanks for taking the time out to read my page and for supporting me and the BRC.
