Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice provides support to children in South Yorkshire,North Derbyshire,North Nottinghamshire and North East Lincolnshire with life limiting conditions, which means the child is not expected to live into adulthood. We estimate that there are 500 children in this region who could benefit from our support. Our hospice is a relaxed and happy place where families can take a break, have fun and get help with the care they need. We also assist children and their families in their own homes. Our support includes ongoing medical respite care for the poorly child, practical and emotional support for family members, sibling and bereavement support and end of life care. It costs £3 million annually to provide this service, and with no statutory government funding, fundraising and public support is vital to our success.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

It has been my dream since I were a lad to run the length of Britain. I'm not doing it the quick or fast way I'm doing it the CROWNSHAW WAY!

I'm starting on 12th May, 2012 in John O Groats and will be finished by 27th July at Lands End and hopefully see some of you along the way when you join me for a run.

It is a personal dream come true for me but so many people said to me to raise some money to help others not so fortunate with good health as me.

Bluebell Wood is a local charity that does so much good for terminally ill children and their famlies that I chose them to support. I hope you agree and give as much as you can and leave the best and most enjoyable bit to me.... running the total distance of 980 miles to complete the CROWNSHAW WAY!
