Great Ormond Street Hospital Childrens Charity
Every year we need to raise over £50 million to help replace cramped, outdated wards with new modern facilities, provide essential equipment and fund essential research to find treatments and cures for complex and difficult illnesses. Amazing things happen at Great Ormond Street Hospital every day. With your help we can keep the magic alive for the thousands of children and their families who need our help.
Christophers Smile
Christopher’s Smile was set up in October 2008 by Karen and Kevin Capel following the tragic death of their only son Christopher from medulloblastoma, an aggressive childhood brain tumour. Supporting UK research centres such as the Institute of Cancer Research, Christopher ’s Smile aims to raise money to fund development of new drugs to treat medulloblastoma and other childhood cancers without devastating side effects. These drugs will provide an effective cure for all and save the lives of the 25% of children who currently do not survive their disease. "Our vision is for every child diagnosed with childhood cancer to not only survive, but to reach adulthood enjoying a good quality of life."
Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes (H4H) was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry after a profoundly moving visit to Selly Oak Hospital in the summer of 2007. Bryn and Emma met some extraordinarily brave young people who had been badly wounded and they just wanted to do something to help. "It’s about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It’s about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it’s about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It’s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It’s about Ben, it’s about Steven and Andy and Mark, it’s about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes."
Mouth Cancer Foundation
The Mouth Cancer Foundation raises awareness of mouth, throat and other head & neck cancers as well as provides support and information for patients, carers and health professionals through its award winning website, unique online support group of over 2,500 members and telephone helpline service.

LVS 3 Peaks Challenge

Fundraisers:
Matt Hill, Oliver Nixon, Alex Jackson

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/lvs3peaks

Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

We are fundraising for the school's 6 charities - Calabash Trust, Christopher's Smile, GOSH, Mouth Cancer Foundation, Georgie's Fund & Helf for Heroes. Unfortuneatly not all our charities are represented on this site, however all offline donations will help ensure our charities get a fair split.

As you may or may not know, as a school we are trying to raise £20, 000 but the end of the school year...we're about half way at the moment so please show your support and give whatever you can; we really do appreciate it.
