1 SWIM, 1 TEAM, £1 MILLION... AND 56 GRUELLING MILES ACROSS THE IRISH SEA. This September, Sir Richard Branson and Ronan Keating are captaining a relay team to swim the gruelling Irish Sea and raise £1million for Cancer Research UK. Calling all swimmers... set yourself a swimming challenge, such as swimming the distance of the Irish Sea in your local swimming pool, and start fundraising for Cancer Research UK. Hi, thanks for visiting my page.

Three years ago I swam the English Channel in my local swimming pool.  Now I'm going to swim three times the distance across the Irish Sea.  Its 56 miles which is 3600 lengths of the pool!  When I 'just' swam the English Channel I raised over £350 for Aspire so I'm hoping to get more for the longer distance!

The money will be going to Cancer Research UK so its a really worthwhile cause.  All the money you give will go direct to them.  Richard Branson and Ronan Keating will be swiming in a relay team across the real Irish Sea in September but I'm going to do it BY MYSELF! (and I'm only 12 don't forget)

Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
