CALM
Suicide is currently the single biggest killer of men aged 15-34 in the UK. The campaign against living miserably offers all callers information, advice and support via our helpline - currently running 4 days a week - and a website www.thecalmzone.net. We are here for all men in the UK, but we target men under the age of 35. We need your help so that we can provide help to men when they're down or hit a wall. And to challenge public perceptions about what being a man is. Because being silent isn't being strong.
Only 0 days to go!

Hi, thanks for visiting our page! Well, Marion and Joe have taken the potentially foolish decision to run the Cardiff Half Marathon in October, uh oh...

So, if you're going to do something so stupid you might as well raise a little money in the process. Earlier this year we lost our friend, Dan Leighton, aka Quiche. The charity we are running for, CALM - the Campaign Against Living Miserably, was set up to reduce the high suicide rate amongst men under 35, as it is currently the single biggest killer of young men in the UK.

CALM are not a governement funded charity and need as much help as they can get to keep their helpline open and be on hand to give people the help they need. So any contribution you make will go a very long way and help to tackle this massive problem.

And surely it's worth paying just to see us run such a ridiculously long way!!

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
