Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal is the Bristol Children's Hospital charity and Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael’s Hospital charity. The Grand Appeal was established in 1995 and has since raised over £18 million to support a wide range of life-saving equipment, family accommodation and patient comforts as well as a whole programme of arts, music, educational and play facilities in the Bristol Children’s Hospital. The Hospital provides world-class care to patients from Bristol, Bath, the South West and South Wales, yet it is only thanks to the many donors from Bristol and all over the South West that we are able to continue a wide programme of investment in the Bristol Children’s Hospital. Help us save lives, provide the best possible patient care and keep families together by donating to the Grand Appeal. Thank you.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page.
Well, this is my 3rd (and probably last!) London marathon. This time I'm running to raise much-needed funds for Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal at Bristol Children's Hospital. Details of the charity and the work they carry out to help sick children can be found by following the link above.
Due to various niggling injuries (age catching up with me!), I wasn’t sure until recently that I would be able to run this year. However, at the moment things seem fine. Because of this uncertainty I’ve left my fundraising attempts until rather late in the day.
Please, please give as much as you can so that my suffering on the 17th of April can help more sick children.
Post marathon update
After all the preparation and training it's all over. It was a very hot day and quite hard but I finished the marathon in 4hrs 20mins. Thank you to everybody who sponsored me and who has helped to make a difference.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to the charitiy. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
