We exist to help improve the lives of people affected by cancer, both those living with cancer and also their families and carers. Our primary focus is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Thank you for visiting my Macmillan Cancer Support sponsorship page for the London Marathon 2012. I am priviliged to be running for Macmillan and any money you can donate to support this amazing charity will change lives.
Since my diagnosis and treatment for cancer 2 1/2 years ago Macmillan have been a constant source of support, care and information. The effects of cancer are lifelong and I feel very fortunate that despite the impact my cancer has had on me and my family I can give something back to a charity which means so much to me.
To date (along with the support of my family and friends) I have raised over £12,000 through various events including what I thought was my biggest physical challenge - the 5 peaks!
However I am embarking on my greatest physical and mental challenge yet as I train and prepare to run the London Marathon. Your sponsorship will help to motivate me over the dark winter months when I have to pound the streets of Birmingham to prepare for the big day!
Macmillan Cancer Support provides information, support and treatment to many of the 300,000 people diagnosed with cancer each year and relies on the generousity of people like you to provide these live changing services.
