Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) aims to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. The Snowdonia Marathon!
Hi, thanks for visiting our page. At the end of October the three of us (Emma, Harald and Tom) will attempt to run the Snowdonia Marathon and raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Last year we lost a close friend, Stewart Goodwin, suddenly to an undiagnosed heart condition. Stu was much more adventurous than us throughout his life so we thought, what better way to honour him than try to run one of the toughest marathons in the UK!
