The Crudwell Village Hall And Recreation Ground
Crudwell is a thriving Village near the towns of Malmesbury, Tetbury and Cirencester. The village is an attractive stone-built village spread around two small greens, either side of the main road. There is an interesting medieval church built in the twelfth century & the only other building of note can be found next to the church. The former rectory was built in the 16th century & is now a hotel. Crudwell Village Hall & Recreation Ground raises funds for the ongoing maintenance and development of this central part of the Crudwell Village Community - the highlight of which is the 24 hour 'Le Mans' bike ride held every June. The Crudwell ‘Le Mans’ 24hr Bike Ride came about as a means to raise funds to build a new Village Hall. Once this was achieved the event went on to raise funds for charity. In 2005 it raised a staggering £24,320.00 in total. Since its inception in 1990, it has been held every year with the exception of 2006 and 2013. Each year it has grown both in terms of the number of riders participating and the level of sponsorship raised, but its most important objectives are still to enjoy yourself and have fun whilst raising money for charity. Every year the funds raised are split 50/50 between the Village Hall and individual charities chosen by the 30+ teams who enter the event.

My page:

Hi, thanks for visiting our page.

Odd Socks are again raising funds for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance but this year in memory of Hannah Cubin.  We are also supporting Crudwell Village Hall and Recreation Ground.

Odd Socks are a team made up of anyone who wants to ride at the Crudwell Bike Ride whether you want to do one lap and enjoy the views or complete many and aim for a personal best!  We like to support the organisers with many members of the team also taking part in admin, marshalling and catering roles.  You can spot us about the course wearing our odd socks and the spare ones hanging on our tent!

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

Thank you :-)
