In the UK alone, 1.8 million people are living with sight loss. Regular eye tests, exercise and a balanced diet can help us to keep our eyes healthy but there are many eye conditions that can't be prevented through lifestyle alone. Fight for Sight helps researchers find ways to stop people losing their sight from these devastating conditions. It is against this background and in support of National Eye Health Week that Fight for Sight is launching a major new annual event Carrots Nightwalk - a 15 mile nightwalk amongst some of London's most spectacular landmarks. Join us on 23 September 2011.
