Charity

THIS CHARITY IS NO LONGER IN OPERATION
Noah's Ark helps to rebuild the lives of local children shattered by the death of a loved one. The devastation felt by children who experience a bereavement of a loved one is impossible to imagine. Yet every year, there are hundreds of local children who feel this anguish. The sole aim of Noah's Ark Trust is to support these children, helping them to come to terms with what has happened.

Ledbury Mayor's Charity Parachute Jump

Fundraiser:
Paul Winter

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/PaulWinter

Hello, Sadly the planned jump could not go ahead due to poor weather (unbroken cloud), so this has now been re-arranged for next week. The jump is all about raising awareness for Noah's Ark Trust and in the process raising money for this local charity.

Tina (my wife) is also jumping for this very worthwhile cause and together with her own fundrasing website, we expect to raise a figure in excess of £1,400.

Here are just 3 reasons why I'm supporting Noah's Ark Trust who provide free support for young people, children, and their families after the death of a loved one, throughout Herefordshire & Worcestershire.

  • Local Ledbury children are benefiting from their support
  • Tina lost her Mum at 15. There was no such support available to her or her much younger brother at that time.
  • Statistics show that unsupported bereavement can lead to alcohol and drug abuse, early teen pregnancy and behavioural or emotional health problems.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
