World Bicycle Relief’s mission is to provide people in need with access to independence and livelihood through the Power of Bicycles. Simple, sustainable transportation in the form of a bicycle multiplies an individual's efficiency. Compared to walking, bicycles improve access to education, healthcare and economic opportunity by increasing carrying capacity and accessible travel distance while decreasing the time it takes to commute to and from schools, clinics and markets With over 115,000 bicycles in the field and 800 field mechanics trained, World Bicycle Relief is changing lives across Africa. World Bicycle Relief currently has assembly facilities in Kenya, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe and has supplied bicycles through programs in Kenya,Mozambique, South Africa, Southern Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Pembrokeshire Bikes's fundraising page
Hi, thanks for visiting our page.
We're riding our tandem for 350 miles non-stop from St Davids in Pembrokeshire to Southwold in Suffolk to raise as much money as possible for www.worldbicyclerelief.org This amazing charity literally changes peoples' lives so please visit their website now. A bike costs £95, if that is more than you can afford, why not club together with your family, friends or colleagues and donate a bike today. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for your donations.
