The Big Fun Run Leeds (Roundhay Park)

The Big Fun Runs are a growing series of 24 Fun Runs being staged across the UK. The distance of each Fun Run is 5Km. Following the success of 2009 many new venues are being added. We are aiming to have upto 1000 runners joining in the fun at each of the Big Fun Runs. Each venue has been carefully selected. They all take place exclusively within scenic parks that are both safe and pleasant running environments. We hope to encourage runners with a range of motivations. This may be simply for leisure and exercise. However we are pleased that the Big Fun Runs can support fundraising. Whatever your motivation we hope you will have fun!!

Greetings and thanks for visiting this page.

It is just a over a year since my mum passed away (it was July 1st 2009).

We were all so grateful to the people at Saint Gemma's and the way they took care of her (and us) in her last few months.

So I am doing this run because I feel it will be small way of saying thank you to the people at Saint Gemma's and also a nice remembrance of my mum.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to St. Gemma's. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
