Acorns Children's Hospice
Established in 1988 we provide specialist palliative care and support to local life limited and life threatened children and their families across the heart of England for almost 30 years. In the last year, we have cared for 865 children and supported 1,088 families, including those who are bereaved across Birmingham, Coventry & Warwickshire, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire regions.

The Ponti Chatterton Mountain Triathlon

The Event - Ride, Run, Ski

Ride - August 2010 100km up hill on a bike. Albertville to Col de l'Iseran - the highest road col in Eurpoe at 2800m.

Run - October 2010 Malvern Beacon Race, 10km accorss the steep hills of the Malverns in Worcestershire.

Ski - March 2011 24hr ski on the Face de Bellevarde in Val d'Isere, with every team member aiming to complete the full 24hrs. The infamous Olympic black run with a 1000m vertical. The lifts will be with us for 8hrs while the other 16hrs we will climb and ski the mountain under our own steam.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
