A registered charity since 2002, AMEND is a patient support group run by volunteers for the benefit of everyone affected by the multiple endocrine neoplasia disorders and their associated endocrine growths. In addition to providing worldwide email and telephone support, AMEND runs a UK research registry and produces patient information with the help of an expert medical advisory team. Membership of AMEND is free and open to patients and health professionals. AMEND continually strives to look for ways of improving the care and management of MEN patients. Prague Marathon 2011's fundraising page

On the 8th of May, we will be running the Prague Volkswagan Marathon for AMEND - The Association for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Disorders It is an international patient group for anyone affected by multiple endocrine neoplasia disorders and sporadic endocrine cancers.It is a fantastic charity, set up by a mother and daughter in 2002. It furfills a vital role offering support and information for a rare condition, and participating in research.
