Help For Heroes
Help for Heroes (H4H) was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry after a profoundly moving visit to Selly Oak Hospital in the summer of 2007. Bryn and Emma met some extraordinarily brave young people who had been badly wounded and they just wanted to do something to help. "It’s about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It’s about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it’s about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It’s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It’s about Ben, it’s about Steven and Andy and Mark, it’s about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes."
WheelPower
Each year, many thousands of men, women and children become disabled due to an accident or illness. Many more are born with a disability which means they need to use a wheelchair. WheelPower, the national charity for wheelchair sport, provides opportunities, facilities and equipment which enable disabled people to play sport and lead healthy active lives.

Hi, thanks for visiting our page.

Ray Butler Ltd is a sponsor of the Spires and Steeples Challenge which takes place on 16th October 2011.  We have also got a team of runners who are prepared to take on the challenge!  Lewis North, Dave Burton, Kate Cook and Kate's brother Iain are attempting to run 26 miles from Lincoln to Sleaford and Vanessa's partner Matt Shaw is attempting to run 13 miles from Metheringham to Sleaford along the Arts and Heritage Trail.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor them and donations will be quickly processed and passed to our chosen charities of Wheel Power's Wheel Appeal and Help for Heroes. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations. Please also feel free to join us at the finish line at the Hub in Sleaford at around 1p.m. on the day and afterwards for a celebratory drink at the Barge and Bottle in Sleaford.
