ABF The Soldiers' Charity
ABF The Soldiers Charity are for soldiers, for life. We are the Army’s National Charity, helping soldiers, veterans and families from every conflict They risk so much for us, but for them, its "just doing their job". In return, The Soldiers’ Charity give them down-to-earth help and friendship, with no hassle or bureaucracy. Over the last 70 years, we have helped countless people from the Army family, defining our work through the Army’s own values of courage, loyalty and selflessness. If needs be, we can often provide vital help within 48 hours. The scope of our work is enormous; last year our eldest beneficiary was a 108-year-old World War II widow who needed assistance in paying her care home fees. The youngest was a two-year-old child of a serving soldier who needed funding for a specialist piece of medical equipment. To provide independence and dignity for every soldier and veteran is something we are incredibly proud to do. Thats what weve been here to offer since 1944 and will be here for as long as there is a need.
