South West Coast Path Walk for ELF 2011

Fundraiser:
Richard Maunder

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/RichardMaunder

Hi, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Mum (Hilarie Maunder) was walking the South West Coastal Path in stages with Devon friends, but at Easter 2001 was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. She fought it gallantly, helped immensely by all the staff in the Yarty Ward, Exeter, but sadly passed away the 1st August 2002.

I would like to finish what she had started and help raise vital funds for ELF along the way. The plan is to complete the 630 miles of the South West Coastal Path in around 40 days averaging a gentle 15.75 miles per day, starting in mid April.

My challenge will help ELF provide extra care and support to others who are diagnosed with leukaemia and are treated in Yarty Ward at the RD&E Hospital in Devon. Please give generously to help ELF continue their fantastic support to battle against this dreadful cancer.

By donating through Virgin Money Giving, your sponsorship will be quickly processed and passed directly to ELF. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

I can be followed on http://richardmaunder.blogspot.com

Many Thanks,

Richard
