MS Trust
The Multiple Sclerosis Trust works with and for the 100,000 people in the UK with multiple sclerosis. Our vision is to enable people with MS to live their lives to the full. The MS Trust provides information that is tailored to what people want to know; education for health professionals about what people with multiple sclerosis need; research into better management of MS and support for anyone affected by MS.
Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. We’ve saved millions of lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, and survival has doubled over the past 40 years. We fund research into more than 200 types of cancer from the most common, such as breast, bowel, lung and prostate cancers, to rare types of tumours and children’s cancers, we support groundbreaking science that benefits everyone.
Anthony Nolan
Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders. Every day, we match incredible individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people who desperately need lifesaving transplants. It costs £60 to recruit, tissue type and maintain just one potential donor to our register. Your donations will help fund our lifesaving work. Please visit for more information or email if you'd like to get more involved.
Mind has been speaking out for better mental health for 60 years and is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales. At Mind, we work for a better life for everyone with experience of mental or emotional distress.
Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity
Birmingham Children’s Hospital is one of only four specialist Children’s Hospitals in the UK. As well as providing first class general paediatric services to children in the West Midlands, we treat some of the sickest children in the country and provide some of the most highly specialised services in the country. Charitable donations to Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity support and benefit patients by helping to fund additional facilities and equipment, supporting medical research and providing the extras that make being in hospital a more comfortable and less distressing experience for children and their families. Birmingham Children’s Hospital is a centre of excellence. With your support we can keep it that way and ensure that it continues to care for our children whilst working to research, prevent, and cure childhood illnesses.

On the 27th August 2012, 25 cycling and F1 fans set off to cycle from Silverstone, the UK's most iconic race circuit, to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, undoubtably the most scenically beautiful race on the F1 calendar. When we returmed from Spa, we had managed to raise £23,081 and awareness for 5 amazing charities.

In August & September 2014, we did it again, but this time we went a bit further!

Our aim was to once again cycle from Silverstone, with the end destination being the most historic F1 race on the calendar... Monza in Italy!

Covering 846 miles and climbing 52,184ft in 9 days, the route took us through England, France, over the Alps in Switzerland and on to Italy. The ride started on Thursday 28th August and finished mid-afternoon on Friday 5th September.

ride2spa was an epic challenge! ride2monza was a herculean task in every sense of the word. The event was totally non-profit and was fully funded by all the riders taking part, meaning every penny we raise will go directly to the charities and start working straight away!

There are lots of reasons why Team ride2spa riders are supporting the selected charities listed, with all of them being close to everones hearts and massivley worthy of any money and awareness we can rasie for them.

Please take to time to visit our website and our facebook and twitter pages, and please help us support these charities! It will make someones day a whole lot better....

Thank you for your time, from Team ride2monza
