Cornish Crabber Challenge (#CCC)

I am making a 900 mile long voyage to raise funds For-ethiopia www.for-ethiopia.com. The trip is self-funded; at every stage, I will be accompanied by a volunteer crew member. I am hoping to raise money by sponsorship; 1p/mile would raise around £9.00, but any amount, however small, will go directly to Ethiopia and make a difference.

I will be leaving St Just-in-Roseland in August 2014 to circumnavigate the island that is the South of England. I will sail east, along the south coast, and up the Thames as far as Tower Bridge. I anticipate reaching this point by September. Once there I will need to lower my mast in order to continue upstream under power. At Reading I will join the Kennet and Avon Canal and will continue to motor west along the canal. I will overwinter in Bristol Docks. In the Spring of 2015, I will leave Bristol to sail down the Severn, and then along the Somerset, Devon and Cornish coasts to the Scilly Isles before returning to St Just.
