Community Links is an innovative east London charity, running a wide range of community services and projects for all ages. Based in Newham, we have over 30 years of experience working with local people to support children, young people, adults and families. Through our national work, we share lessons with government and community groups across the country to achieve social change.

I'm gonna be running the British 10k on 8 July in aid of the Newham-based charity, Community Links, which I've had the pleasure to be involved with through work. Obviously I'm aiming to break the 10k world record etc etc.
Please donate whatever you can spare as every single penny will go towards the wonderful community and youth projects run by the charity. More info below =)

Community Links’ vision is for confident and inclusive communities where everyone is able to fulfil their potential and no one is left behind.
They are an innovative charity running community based projects in east London and sharing local lessons to create national change. Their network of community projects reaches over 30,000 vulnerable children, young people, adults and older people every year, empowering individuals and communities to build their own ladders out of poverty and towards a brighter future. Their programme of national work shares the local lessons to maximise the benefit from our first hand experience.
Newham, Community Links' home borough, has high levels of deprivation, poverty and unemployment and the youngest population in the UK with over 40% of residents under 25. Community Links' projects focus on four aims: Raising aspirations, Extending opportunities, Tackling poverty and Strengthening communities.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
