Run The Race is a project organised by Local Churches who are working together to serve the local community. During 2012 and beyond we will be organising sporting and social events that will strengthen and support our community life. We want to give every child, young person and adult in our community the opportunity to life life in all it's fullness!

Well, we took the plunge and signed up, and now Phil Mann, Martyn Groves, Pete Hodson, Dave Sellers and George Eckford are signed up to run the Paris Marathon on April 15th 2012.
Crazy? Yep...but needs to be done.
If ever there was an unlikely bunch to run a marathon it's us three...which means you need to dig that extra bit deeper!
We are raising money for Run the Race, a local project being organised by the local churches in Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St. Peter. We are planning a whole range of community events to celebrate the Olympics - Big Screen, festivals, childrens holiday clubs...and a whole load more. We also will be using our activites to raise awareness of "Stop the Traffik" a charity working to put a stop to social injustice through people traffiking.
By sponsoring us on this page Virgin Money Giving will quickly process you donation and pass it to us. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations
Run the Race is a project run by the local churches, with the adminstration and accounts run from Gold Hill Baptist Church. Whilst payments made to us will be to Gold HIll Baptist Church, all donations will be given straight to Run the Race for use in their community projects.
