Sally Burns

Charity

Anthony Nolan
Someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer such as leukaemia every 23 minutes. A blood stem cell (or bone marrow) transplant is often the only cure. Currently Anthony Nolan is only able to provide a matching donor for half the people that come to us in need of a lifesaving transplant. With your help we can grow our register of remarkable people willing to donate their stem cells, facilitate more transplants and save more lives. It costs £100 to recruit, tissue type and maintain just one potential donor to our register. Your donations will help fund our lifesaving work. Please visit www.anthonynolan.org for more information or email events@anthonynolan.org if you'd like to get more involved.

Hi there, yes I am running another marathon - never say never!  A few years ago I ran my first marathon to raise money for Aaron Ainger who was fighting Leukemia.  This year I am running the London Marathon in memory of him, his brave fight and the wonderful people he had around giving him love, comfort and support.  Please donate to the charity of Aaron's choice - Anthony Nolan

Thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
