Great Weston Ride 2012

15 July 2012

The 2012 Great Weston Ride is a fabulous 56-mile challenge bike ride from Bristol to Weston-super-Mare that follows a spectacular route through the Mendips and across the Somerset Levels. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the official charity partner for the ride and all riders are being encouraged to raise as much money as possible in the fight against prostate cancer.

6th May      - Somerset Hills Gran Fondo - 81 miles
20th May  - Black Rat                 - 60/100 miles
27th May  - Somerset 100              - 100 miles
24th June - Dartmoor Classic          - 100 miles
15th July - Great Weston Ride         - 56 miles
16th Sept - Cheddar Cyclosportive     - 60/100 miles

Last year was my first in road cycling, and I took part in 2 events (56 and 60 miles). This year I'm pushing myself to do more, and go further.
