The Shakespeare Hospice - The Shakespeare Hospice, which is based in Stratford-upon-Avon, provides compassionate and professional care for members of our community whose lives are touched by serious illness. We offer comfort, information and choice to our patients and those who care for them, helping them through some of the most challenging times of their life. The Shakespeare Hospice does not charge for its services and is almost entirely voluntary funded, receiving less than 5% of its running costs from the NHS. Any support The Hospice receives from the public is therefore greatly appreciated and we are very grateful for the support we receive from anyone who kindly choose to raise money to fund our work.

The Shakespeare Hospice 100 Heroes Challenge

The One Hundred Heroes Challenge is the perfect way to have fun while making a real difference to your local community. Supported by Touch FM and the Stratford Herald, the challenge is simple. Raise one thousand pounds for The Shakespeare Hospice during twenty ten. How you meet the challenge is up to you, although the Hospice’s fundraising team will be here to offer help and advice every step of the way. So, whether you are hoping to get fit for the New Year, want to try something new, looking for a reason to arrange a social event or fancy a different sort of team building activity, the one hundred Heroes Challenge is a brilliant way to do something amazing in the year ahead.

We are The Shakespeare Hospice Clinical Team! Through our Day Hospice and Hospice at Home services we provide care and support for local families affected by serious illness. The Hospice relies upon voluntary giving to carry out its work and as the carers at the forefront of that service we want to raise funds for the work we do.
